Vodafone Insider produces a monthly newsletter, which is sent out to office and retail colleagues in an informal magazine-style format. Its aim is to encourage employees to read the good news stories happening throughout the businesses, and share this with other colleagues and industry partners to further enhance Vodafone’s positive reputation.
We were tasked by our partners Synergy Marketing, to build a secure microsite with a high-volume traffic potential that adhered to Vodafone’s strict security policies. The site had to be fully responsive, as well as work in IE8 and be a minimum of TLS 1.0 compliant.
As most of the traffic was going to be driven to the microsite by the newsletter, we knew that most readers would be on the site at the same time. We collaborated with WP Engine and Vodafone Insider to build a secure microsite that was fast and responsive – even when faced with over 12,000 site visitors at any one time.
Additionally, the site was locked so that only Vodafone employees could access the content and previous newsletter editions.
Once the site construction was underway, Synergy Marketing started to create the graphics. We reviewed the designs at each stage to ensure everything worked responsively across all screen sizes, as well as reflected the platform we could build within the timeframe and budget.
The Vodafone Insider team was very happy with the results and the positive feedback received across the business.
