Nestlé International Travel Retail intended to take its printed product catalogue to the next level by making it digital, featuring detailed information about its confectionery listings, key contacts and sustainability efforts.
Working alongside our design partners at DC Activ, our task was to build a responsive WordPress site for modern browsers (IE10 +), IOS and Android mobile devices, and touchscreen monitors. We chose this platform as its strengths matched our requirements, such as client usability, design versatility and future expansion possibilities (e.g. new product listings). Nestlé International Travel Retail also
requested that the site could be used offline by employees at key trade exhibitions.
We were involved in the project from the concept stage, providing DC Activ and Nestlé International Travel Retail with technical feedback throughout the process to guarantee the design worked effectively.
Once the design was signed-off, we migrated the content across to the live server, having advised Nestlé International Travel Retail on the most suitable hosting platform and hardware. We also attended a key trade exhibition in Cannes to provide digital and IT support to the Nestlé team. The new digital catalogue has proved popular with all key stakeholders, and we continue to update the content and offer support when required.
